Based on the knowledge development outlined per year hereunder, a marketing, advertising or graphic design major can synthesize theoretical and conceptual knowledge with real work in a real work environment.
Year 1
Responsibility/Function
Work on a social media implementation plan with a focus on content scheduling in an editorial calendar.
Work on implementing the plan.
Knowledge development: Strategic content marketing
Year 2
Responsibility/Function
Increase responsibility through involvement in webpage editing, simple publishing and fixes.
Knowledge development: external communications and SEM
Year 3
Responsibility/Function
Evolve tasks to include digital marketing implementation covering social and digital ads.
Knowledge development: Digital and social advertising based off strategy
