贝克Strah is an Assistant Professor in the School of Justice Studies at Roger Williams University. Dr. Strah’s research has largely centered on corrections, 监狱亚文化, 性别, program evaluations. His recent research examined the effect of 性别ed attitudes on prison behaviors, he served as a co-investigator on a study evaluating the impacts of punishment on sex offenders in Washington state.
Dr. Strah’s published work has appeared in Journal of Offender Rehabilitation, Journal of Qualitative Criminal Justice and Criminology, Journal of Police and Criminal Psychology. Prior to his doctoral work, he was employed as a Corrections Deputy in Snohomish County, WA, he has recently taught and developed inmate programs for Massachusetts correctional facilities. Dr. Strah is a 2020 graduate of Northeastern University (Ph.D.) and is currently co-authoring a book titled Criminal Psychology: History, Practice, 研究, the Future.
