The mission of the Roger Williams University 司法系统培训 & 研究所 (JSTRI) is to provide high quality, academically challenging professional development 培训 to justice system personnel, and to serve as an applied research resource and information provider for the criminal justice community to enhance the professionalism of the justice system.
Through 培训 and workshops, JSTRI assists law enforcement agencies as they move toward best practices drawn from diverse academic disciplines to address contemporary issues. These 培训s encourage the development of critical thinking skills and the use of empirical data for problem solving and decision making by utilizing technology as a means of enhancing "real world" performance.
With over 40 years of combined experience, JSTRI staff is dedicated to improving the criminal justice field for law enforcement professionals and the general public.
